St. Patrick's Day
Live Irish Theatre

Murphy¹s Irish Pub stages Irish
literature presentations
periodically throughout the year.
Most recently, the pub put on its
annual pre - St.
Patrick's Day play, this year based
on the comic and provocative
Letters of an Irish Priest, from the
Irish playwright and humorist
John B. Keane. Kate Kennedy of
Avalon Shakespeare Players
directed the sell-out shows, which
included two performances at the
pub, plus one at Sebastiani
Theatre. The Sebastiani shows
benefited both Avalon Players and
World Vision, an organization
funding assistance for refugees
fleeing violence in Darfur.
